The release process of O3 systems is regulated by a roadmap specific for each system. There are two deadlines in each process: the first one is when the software process stops, to makes sure that only completed issues will be included in the release. Between this deadline and the availability of the new release there is a two weeks time dedicated to the software tests. Only after this process the binaries will be uploaded on our website. The roadmap proposed shows the maximum amount of time that should pass between two releases, which can be shortened due to special needs; the community can propose advices on these changes. |
